Korean tech giant Samsung is going to launch a new smartphone in the Indian market very soon, named Samsung Galaxy A16 5G. This device has recently been spotted on the Geekbench database with model number SM_A166P.

Last year, Samsung launched the Galaxy A15 5G, which came with MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset. But it is being told that the upcoming Galaxy A16 5G will get the Dimensity 6300 5G chipset. And it is going to be available with 6GB RAM variant.
By the way, recently it was confirmed from a UK certification website that Samsung is working on a 4G device which could be the A16 4G, it will be the successor of the Galaxy A15 4G. But not much is known about its chipset, although MediaTek Helio G99 processor was seen in A15 4G.

Expectedly it will get 5000mAh battery and 25 watt fast charging support. It will come with Android 14, which will have a 50-megapixel camera on the back and a 16-megapixel selfie camera in the front, will come with 5G connectivity and for performance, MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G chipset will be seen in it.
On the other hand, talking about Galaxy a15 5G, it has a 6.5-inch 90Hz Full HD Plus AMOLED display. It has 4/6/8 GB RAM and 128/256 GB storage variants. There is a 50-megapixel triple rear camera at the back and a 13-megapixel selfie camera at the front. It also has a 5000 mAh battery and 25 watt white charging support and it is possible that the same similar type specification can be seen in a16 but with some upgrades.

Sansung Galaxy A16 5G Price and release date
However, Samsung has not yet officially given any information about the price and release date. But it can be expected that this device will be seen with a price point under 20,000.
