Realme Narzo 70 Turbo 5G Review – Specifications & Price

Popular smartphone brand Realme has introduced a new smartphone in the Narzo series and its name is Realme Narzo 70 Turbo 5G. The company has claimed that it is a powerful gaming smartphone. But is it really a gaming smartphone, will users be able to get a good gaming experience through it, let’s see.

The device is available with a total of three different storage options. The base variant comes with 6GB + 128GB, the mid variant has 8GB + 128GB and the top variant has a 12GB + 256GB option. It has come in a total of three different color options – Turbo Yellow, Turbo Green and Turbo Purple.

Realme Narzo 70 Turbo 5G is seen with a unique style with a dual tone matte color finish at the back. A square shapes camera module is found in the center in the back where two cameras are seen. Polycarbonate back and frame is available in it. It is about 7.6mm thick and weighs 185 grams. IP65 water resistant support is given. Center punch hole camera style is available in the front. And it has a very slim bezel.

Talking about the ports and buttons, the bottom of the device has a type-C charging port, a speaker, a mic and hybrid SIM tray slot. The power button and volume rockers are given in the right side. On the top, there is a 3.5mm headphone jack and a speaker and a noise cancel mic.

It has a 6.67-inch OLED display. 120Hz refresh rate and 1200 nits max brightness support will be available. 92.65% screen to body ratio, Dragontrail glass is given for display protection.

For performance, it gets MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy 5G chipset. This is a 5nm based powerful processor. It has LPDDR4x RAM type and UFS 3.1 storage type. The overall Antutu score of the device is 440K+. Stainless steel VC 6050mm² cooling chamber is available for butter gaming experience. In this, you can get smooth gaming experience up to 90fps. It supports GT mode.

The device has a 5000mAh battery and 45W fast charging support and this charger is given in the box. It has been claimed by the company that by charging for 10 minutes, it can take up to 1.7 hours of gaming experience. Out of the box Realme UI 5 based on Android 14 software is available. It will get 2 years major update and 3 years security update (officially confirmed).

Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 6, 9G band sports. Unfortunately, there is no NFC or IR blaster option in this. Other features include up to 14GB of dynamic RAM support, and an in-display fingerprint sensor which is smooth and fast.

Talking about the camera, there is a 50MP main camera and a 2MP portrait camera on the rear side. There is a 16MP selfie camera on the front. Max video recording of 4K@30fps from the back and 1080p@30fps from the front can be done.

Talking about the cameras features, many different option have been given in the camera like Night Mode, Portrait Mode, Slow Motion, Time Lapse, Dual View Video, Movie Mode and Many Mode. Talking about the real experience, the overall video quality of the camera is quite good. The photo comes out decent in normal daylight conditions. The video mode was visible while traveling in low-light conditions.

Realme Narzo 70 Turbo 5G Price in India

The base variant of this device is priced at Rs 16,999. The mid variant is priced at Rs 17,999 and the top variant is priced at Rs 20,999. A launch offer has been given in the device and through this effective offer, the base variant will be available for Rs 14,999 i.e. up to Rs 2000 off will be available in all variants.

This device is going to go on fast sale on September 16.

Should you buy?

Now the biggest question is should I buy the Narzo 70 Turbo 5G device at this price point? If we look at the overall specification and price, then it can become a very good option. There are many reasons for this, such as the processor that is available according to the price is very good. Because recently a smartphone was released by the Nothing and its price was around 25,000 but the processor is same.

Not only this, it has a very good display, battery and many more different features. On the other hand, If we talk about the negative aspects of the phone, then bloatware is still seen in it. If a person is looking for a smartphone in which he can do gaming well and wants to have a smooth experience, then this phone can become a better option for them, that too within the budget.
