Kalki 2898 AD Review: Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Hassan, Prabhas and Deepika Padukone just awesome

If Kalki 2898 ad film is reviewed in one word, then it is Extra Awesome, that is, it is a money-oriented film. Released on 27 June 2024, this film is made on a budget of about 600 crores. This is a Telugu language epic science fiction action film made at a huge level. So how is this film, let’s talk in detail.

This film is directed by Nag Ashwin who has also done the screenplay of the film and has also returned the story. We will review the movie in two parts, one is the 1st half and 2nd half. Before moving forward, let us give a little information about the story. Without giving the story spoiler, let us tell you that the story is about the war between good and bad. The movie is connected to Hindu mythology, in Kaliyuga, someone will come who is going to save the entire human race.

Who is the one who will be born, why is he saving him and who all stand in front of him to save him, all this is shown in this movie which looks great. Talking about cinematography, here the cinema autograph is seen to be very good, which will also give a great feel with the visual effects.

Talking about the first half, the movie is seen to be a bit slow based, that is, the story plot seems a bit slow here. Here the story build up is seen but a lot of cards could have been put here, so it feels a bit slow which can also bore you. And another small negative point was seen in this, that is some unexpected songs of the movie and along with it unusual comedy, it will make you laugh but it does not fit in its place, you will feel this while watching the movie.

Where the first half makes you laugh, the second half will be very fun for you and will be seen full of action. There will be many small cameos of big stars in the movie which will be very interesting to watch. In the second half, the visual effects are quite amazing at many places and the camera movement at some places will also look very good. By the way, here you get to see some scenes from Mahabharata which will definitely give you goosebumps.

Performance

First of all, if we talk about the star cast, then we get to see great actors like Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Hasan, Deepika Padukone in the lead roles of the movie. Talking about Prabhas, he is a Bunty Hunter and if we talk about his overall acting, then he looks okay, there can be a bit of bar full in the first half but this thing gets completed when you watch the second half.

To add life to the movie, we get to see Amitabh Bachchan in the role of Ashwatthama. While watching the movie, you will feel that he fits perfectly in this character and you cannot think of anyone else to play this role once you watch this movie.

Talking about Kamal Hasan, here he is the God of a city named Complex. Supreme Yashkin is his name and when you see his earlier form, you will start feeling scared and which is perfect for a villain. Deepika Padukone is seen playing a character named Sumathi who is going to be the mother of Lord Kalki, that is, she will give birth to him, so her overall acting performance is also good.

Technical Aspects
