A new flippable smartphone from the Motorola Razr series has been launched in the Indian market and its name is Motorola Razr 50 5G. This is going to be an affordable flippable smartphone in which many powerful features will be seen. After the launch of this device, many people are asking whether this device is right at this price point or not? So let’s see.
This device was launched in just one variant – 8GB RAM and 256GB storage option. Its launch price is Rs 64,999. It is available in total three color options – Spritz Orange, Beach Sand and Koala Gray.
Talking about the ports and buttons of the device, Type-C charging port, dual mic and a speaker grill seen at the bottom. On the right side, volume rocker and a power on off button are available in which inbuilt side mounted fingerprint scanner. A single SIM tray have on the left side. Two extra mics are available on the top.
The back and frame use metal, so you will see antenna lines on the sides. There is a big speaker above the front camera of the device, which means you will get a total of two speakers in this device.

It has a total of two displays, the outer display have a 3.63-inch AMOLED display. It comes with 90hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support and 1700 nits peak brightness, it has the protection of Gorilla Glass Victus.
The display comes with a 6.9-inch FHD+ LTPO AMOLED screen. It has 120hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, 3000 nits peak brightness and Gorilla Glass Victus protection will also given.
For butter performance, MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset is available. It is a 4nm based 5G processor. Its overall Antutu score is around 640K+. It has LPDDR4x RAM type and UFS 2.2 storage type.
Talk about battery backup, you will get 4200mAh battery and 33 watt fast charging support. Charger is already provided in the box. This device supports 15 watt wireless charging. It will get Android 14 and MyUX out of the box. 3 years of OS update and 4 years of security patch update will be available.
This Motorola device is very good in connectivity as it will get the option of 16 5G band, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6e, Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC. It has a physical SIM and eSIM support.
Talk about other features. Inbuilt Google Gemini also given. AI inbuilt features are available, through which you can create wallpaper by typing the prompt. It has IPx8 water resistant support. Smart water touch support features will also be available. The overall weight of the device is around 190 grams.
A 50MP camera will be available at the back of this mobile phone, which is going to HyperOS support. It is going to have a 13MP ultra white + macro camera sensor. A 32MP camera censor given in the front. Video recording can be done at high resolution of 4K @30fps from both the side cameras. The camera has all the modes that users need at present like portrait mode, night mode, slow motion, dual video mode, panorama mode, pro mode, tail mode and many more. There is only one variant available in it as mentioned earlier and its launch price will be 64,999. Through bank card offer, this device will be available for Rs 49,999. Up to Rs 10,000 discount is going to be available through bank card. A special launch discount of Rs 5,000 will be available. A no cost EMI option of 18 months is also going to be available on this device.

The biggest question is whether this device should be bought at this price point or not? If the price point of the smartphone is seen with special discount, then it can become a very good option if a person wants to use for minimal. But if you are thinking of buying a performance special smartphone, then you can go towards Motorola Razr 50 Ultra.
